Beagles’ latest capability is now up to speed

Our new global light CMM has been busy since implementation by piloting verification of a variety of structures. All these structures are made in house. With our latest capability mentioned; the customer can be assured that the latest verification technologies are employed for the conformity of product required. This capability further aligns to one of our core values ‘to put quality at the centre of everything we do to drive sustainable growth’.

Beagle Aircraft – Improving tool change ability

Beagle improves machining accuracy and finish with new shrink fit holder capability.

Recently Beagle invested in heat shrink holder capability; this improves accuracy, surface finish, and clamping force. In turn we can machine to better tolerances, improve surface quality, and reduce scrap due to tool slippages in the holder. Beagle’s complementing machining capabilities include: –

• 2 x 5 Axis Mills
• 1 x 4 Axis Mill
• 3 x 3 Axis Mills
• 1 x Lathe with Driven tooling
• 1 x Bar fed lathe
• 1 x CNC aluminium router
• 1 x CNC punch

All these machines are programmed through Catia V5 Machining and proven through Vericut.
