Beagle Composites is a new Group Division, in which the Company has invested £300+k, including the purchase of a pre-peg cutter and laser projection systems. Beagle Composites has built on the Beagle Technology Group’s rich heritage and experience and is proving the Company’s ability to adapt, innovate and win business in new markets.

In February 2011, sister Group Division Beagle Defence won a contract to provide an initial 40 composite pods for Force Protection’s Ocelot armoured vehicle programme (for UK MOD). Ocelot is an armoured vehicle that is scheduled to replace the Snatch Land Rover used by the British forces in Afghanistan and Iraq, under the name Foxhound.

Historically, the Company has manufactured composite components for Rolls-Royce RB-211 aircraft engines and bonded composite structures for BAE Systems.
